Good curling, everyone.
We had a great start to the 2012-2013 curling season last night. It was good to see so many new people enthusiastic about learning the sport. Thanks, too, to all the returning members who provided instruction and inspiration to the newcomers. Looking forward to seeing everyone on the 27th.

A Winning Team
On September 21st, the Holt team, consisting of Bob Holt (skip), Lisa Holt (lead), Bruce Seely (second), and Phil Swanson (third) won the first Mt. Washington Valley bonspiel in Conway, NH. The Mt. Washington Valley Curling Club plans to make this an annual event. Three teams from Woodstock Curling Club participated in the bonspiel, which drew teams from both dedicated ice clubs and arena club throughout the east.
Upper Valley Curling is the place for curling in the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire. The club, known as the Woodstock Curling Club, curls at Union Arena in Woodstock, Vermont on Sunday evenings from mid-October to mid-March. There’s also a short summer curling season in late June through July.
